Increase Vertical Jump

I’ve put this site together to finally show people my path of how I finally managed to increase vertical jump after hours of training / failing and much embarrassment with my peers!

After doing various training before one thing I can straight away tell you is that learning how to increase vertical jump is all about doing the right things, and making sure your training isn’t pointless! – If you want to really get better, improve and ultimately jump higher you need to learn specific vertical jump training exercises that can help you to improve!

I started learning at school! Naturally some of the people in our PE group could just way higher than me, but the reason I wanted to improve was not so I could beat them, but purely for my own self esteem and motivation…I wanted to treat it as a little project of my own that I could hopefully achieve!

Once during a PE lesson the teacher told us to grab a partner and line up against the wall. He then described what we would be doing, and told us that all we needed to do was practice our jumping and try and increase vertical jump as much as we possibly could! – So one of us would crouch down, and jump up as high as possible, and the other would mark with some chalk on the wall how high we achieved!

My results were actually embarrassing, and I had no idea that I was so pathetic at jumping! I could have just accepted it, because I’m not trying to be a pro athlete or basketball player, so being able to jump high is definitely not a necessity to me, but one thing I did not want to accept was that I was rubbish at vertical jumping!

After the PE lesson thoughts went through my mind about how I was actually laughed at by my peers. I mean these people are my friends so they wouldn’t have meant it hurtfully but it made me think that maybe I could start my own project to improve my own vertical jump, and use some specific vertical jump training to improve!

I decided that I would pursue my mission to learning how to increase vertical jump and that I would not just stop and accept that I wasn’t very good! – I decided to search on the internet and actually found some specific training guides that could teach me exactly what I needed to know!

I was a little skeptical at first but as it was my mission to get better I decided to try out the information I found and to my amazement it’s actually worked. I got 4 weeks into my training and had already dramatically increased my vertical jump just by doing some technique changes that I was instructed to do.
